CASH SLAVE II

BIO
Miss AL Simpson is an award-winning OG cryptoartist and pioneer of AI Cinema, recognised for her role in shaping the evolution of crypto-native and machine-authored art. Her practice merges digital graffiti aesthetics, informed by the legacy of Basquiat, Rauschenberg, and Kippenberger, with animated 3D historical motifs, cinematic composition, and authored machine vision.

In recent years, her practice has evolved into AI Cinema: a distinct, authored methodology in which custom-trained AI systems operate as collaborators within a disciplined cinematic and conceptual framework. Drawing on years of analogue ink intervention, painting, collage, and 3D construction, her works are not generative experiments but directed films and visual worlds, constructed with narrative intent and aesthetic control.

Her work has been featured by major international publications including The Washington Post, CNBC, and the Financial Times, and exhibited across leading cultural centres such as London, New York, Paris, Tokyo, and Vancouver. In 2025, Miss AL Simpson exhibited AI Cinema work with Sotheby’s New York, marking a significant institutional recognition of her authored approach to machine-collaborative moving image.

Alongside her cinematic works, Miss AL Simpson has developed a new genre of overpainted AI post-photography, merging the language of traditional oil painting with machine-generated imagery to produce works that sit between fine art, fashion, and speculative futures.

Her broader practice is defined by world-building: interconnected visual universes that exist simultaneously as fine art, film, and on-chain cultural artefacts. These worlds explore themes of decentralisation, authorship, surveillance, femininity, and post-human identity, positioning her work at the intersection of art, technology, and cultural systems.

As Bonhams has noted, “Miss AL Simpson has emerged as a leading protagonist in the digital avant-garde, shaping the course of this transformative movement.
